Q. What is the "Online Infrastructure"?
A. The CRMnext Online Infrastructure is a unique Web-based foundation through which
CRMnext delivers a complete application environment. The Online Infrastructure comprises
the application hosting foundation (servers, database, security, scalability, backup,
redundancy, disaster backup recovery site, load balancing, caching, monitoring,

Q. How do I Know if we have a pop up Blocker software installed?
A.Pop-up prevention software can prevent certain necessary pop-up windows in CRMnext
from appearing. If you notice that nothing happens when you click a button that
should launch a pop-up window, check to see if you are running a pop-up prevention
program. If so, either hold down the Ctrl or Shift key on your keyboard as you click
the button or turn the program off when using CRMnext (recommended). PopUpCop, for
example, can cause run-time errors that prevent you from using CRMnext. It is recommended
to disable PopUpCop before using CRMnext.

Q. How to enable CRMnext if we have a Pop up-Blocker software installed?
A. The CRMnext application makes extensive use of popup-windows to enhance usability
and end-users experience. This means that the application would regularly open new
pop-up windows for data collection, to ensure that the user does not loose the focus
from his current task, we have to remove pop up blocker for CRMnext, that can be
done as listed below:
Step 1: Check if Popup-up Blocker is enabled
Click on Google Menu, and select Options. In accessories, check if Popup Blocker
is on.
Step 2: Check if a popup is blocked for the site www.crmnext.com
Step 3: Add www.crmnext.com to your safe list.
Select the “Always Allow Pop-Ups From…” option, select www.crmnext.com, and click
on Allow button. The site entry would now appear in the “Always Allow Pop-Ups from
these sources” list. Click on Close button.
Step 4: Close the browser window, open a new browser and login again
If you experience problems during login or your login screen fails to open in a
new window, then it might be due to a popup blocker/swatter application installed
on your machine. Most search toolbars today come with built in pop-up swatters.

Q. My Internet connection is working fine, still can’t login CRMnext?
A. There may be the following two reasons:
CRMnext works on Internet Explorer version 5.5 and above only. Please check with
your system administrator as to which version is installed on your computer? If
it is below, version 5.5, please get it upgraded or upgrade it from www.microsoft.com.
Secondly there could be a pop – up blocker activated on - go to tools at internet
explorer And click on pop up blocker – put the pop up blocker off.

Q. What would be the capacity requirement for Internet connectivity / Bandwidth
utilization per user / per-transaction?
A. CRMnext has been natively developed to work over Internet. Using CRMnext is equivalent
to using a site. Each page load is approximately 20KB. Using smart caching technique
of the Internet Explorer browser, we ensure that images & icons are only loaded
once, at the start of each session. Hence, to calculate the additional Internet
Bandwidth, we would need to asses the number of concurrent users expected to use
the system and the activities they will do. Based on our studies, we estimate that
an average user browses one page every 6 minutes.

Q What is the optimal resolution required for viewing CRMnext?
A. The minimum recommended screen resolution is 800 x 600. To check your screen
resolution, minimize all of your open applications and right-click anywhere on your
desktop. Select "Properties" from the pop-up menu. This will launch the Display
Properties window. Click the Settings tab. The "Screen area" section of the tab
will show your resolution. We recommend 800 x 600 or 1024 x 768.

Q. What happens to my data if I decide to withdraw from CRMnext?
A. If at any time you decide not to continue with CRMnext for whatsoever reason,
you may export all of your data into Excel using our Reports wizard. We will purge
the data out of our system 90 days after you exit from CRMnext.

Q. Can CRMnext work with third-party OLAP tool?
A. CRMnext features an inbuilt Relation OLAP engine to enable our customers to leverage
advanced analytics. Should the customer feel the need to install and run an third-party
on Premise OLAP engine, CRMnext can provide regular data dumps for the same. The
customer administrator will need to import these data dumps into the OLAP system,
enabling everyone in the company to then use the same.

Edition integrates Microsoft® Outlook® email with CRMnext. Outlook Edition adds
new buttons and options to your Outlook user interface. If you buy the outlook edition,

outlook will automatically get listed in activities with reference to the email

Q. How can I be sure my data won't be lost?
A. We back up your data with a variety of methods to ensure that your organization
does not experience any data loss. Every transaction is stored to RAID disks in
real-time with Oracle's archive mode enabled, allowing the database to recover all
transactions prior to any system failure. Every night all data is backed up to a
separate backup server and high speed automatic tape library. The backup tapes are
cloned as an additional precautionary measure, and the cloned tapes are transported
to an off-site, fireproof vault twice a month. In addition, the Qwest facility that
stores our servers is architecturally designed to withstand catastrophic events
and earthquakes up to 8.0 on the Richter scale.

Q. Can I house a backup of my data at my own site?
A. In order for you to house your own data, it would require you to own an Oracle
license, database hardware, application server hardware, and application server
license, and also have an Oracle DBA on staff. In order to keep administration and
overall total cost of ownership down, we handle all of this for you. However, you
can sign up to receive weekly backup files of your CRMnext.com data.

Q. How scalable is CRMnext.com?
A. The service has the capacity to scale to the largest of teams. The architecture
behind the service was designed to handle millions of users. We use a scalable Sun
server, and can scale as rapidly as our customers require. We also use Sun application
servers, and can immediately add additional Sun application servers in order to
increase capacity as needed.

A. CRMnext.com has built redundancy into all systems to minimize any system failures
that could be perceived as customer outages. All components of the system are proactively
monitored and managed such that faults are detected before system outages. We realize
that there may occasionally be system outages due to issues beyond our control.
We have established numerous escalation procedures to notify the proper personnel
in the event of any system outage, and remedy any issues as quickly as possible.

Q. Will I see a degradation in performance as CRMnext's subscribers base grows?
A. No. We are very conscious of performance and have designed the service to be
scalable in such a way that we can constantly stay ahead of customer demand. Our
architecture allows us to easily add web and application servers to accommodate

as needed to accommodate more users. In addition, the Qwest facility that houses

A. We have ten levels of security to ensure your data safety. You can read more

www.rackspace.com. This is the data center we use. Regarding other procedures that
we follow; none of our administrators get direct access to the database. The routine
work is done through a back office console, which provides automated features like
backup, recovery, password resets, etc. Some features are further tied into the
automated processes of the datacenter, for example the storage of backup automatically
happens at rack space every night over their SAN. These steps ensure that none of
our administrator can see your data. The only time we allow direct access is during
the process of upgrade (new releases). As you may be aware, we offer three upgrades
a year, which typically require a schema change. Only during this time, database
administrator can access the datacenter database servers directly. This too is done
in a group, with qualified people and with limited time access. During this period
all their activities are logged.

Q. Who in my company can configure CRMnext for implementation?
A. Your Administrator can configure many aspects of CRMnext to meet the specific

choices in every pick list, change the text that appears on the Home tab, and add
an unlimited number of custom fields. All pre-configured reports can be customized
and saved for future selection. Additionally, each user can change the "tabs" presented
in the user interface. For example, a marketing manager may choose only to see Leads,
Forecasts, and Reports tabs. A sales rep. may select Opportunities, Accounts, Contacts,
and Forecasts. Lastly, a customer support rep. may limit the user interface to Accounts,

Q. What LAN Configuration is required to support CRMnext?
A. CRMnext should work from behind a firewall or proxy server. Firewall issues are
specific to individual Users, so please see your network administrator if you are
having any firewall problems or if your browser requires special settings for your
proxy server. One personal firewall product that does sometimes prevent Users from
logging in to CRMnext is ZoneAlarm Pro. (If you are running the free trial version,
you will not encounter these problems.) Launch ZoneAlarm Pro. Choose "Privacy" from
the menu on the left side of the screen to load the Privacy menu. In the Privacy
menu, click the Site List tab to launch the Site List window. On the Site List window,
highlight www.CRMnext.com. CRMnext should automatically appear in the Site List
for anyone who has previously been to www.CRMnext.com. After highlighting www.CRMnext.com,
choose the Options button from the lower right part of the screen to launch the
Custom Privacy Settings window. Underneath the section "3rd Party Cookies" make
sure that the field "Remove private header information" is unchecked. Click [OK]
to accept the changes. Changing these settings will not affect any other site's
settings; it will only use these new settings when you are visiting www.CRMnext.com.

Q. What are the system requirements for Outlook Edition?
A. The system requirements for Outlook Edition are:
i. Microsoft® Outlook® 2000, 2002, or 2003 (Outlook 2002 is also known as Outlook
XP.)
ii. Windows 2000 or XP
The options to create cases from emails and access CRMnext.com tabs directly from
within Outlook are not available in Outlook 2000.

in CRMnext from appearing. If you notice that nothing happens when you click a button
that should launch a pop-up window, check to see if you are running a pop-up prevention
program. If so, either hold down the Ctrl or Shift key on your keyboard as you click
the button or turn the program off when using CRMnext (recommended). PopUpCop, for
example, can cause run-time errors that prevent you from using CRMnext. It is recommended
to disable PopUpCop before using CRMnext. AdWare, specifically Gator: CRMnext recommends
that you do not run AdWare while using CRMnext. In particular, the Marketing Manager
plug-in is not compatible with Gator software. Gator prevents the Marketing Manager
from operating properly. Also, Gator may prevent certain pull-down menus from rendering
properly. Hotbar: CRMnext recommends that you do not use Hotbar or Hotbar skins.
Hotbar prevents certain windows from refreshing properly, which in turn freezes
Internet Explorer. CRMnext recommends you remove Hotbar. Disabling the program will
not work; you must uninstall the program from your computer altogether.
